Most operators go up on day four. We go on day six, after Gran Paradiso as an acclimatization peak and a real rest day. More time at altitude means more people on the summit, and we turn back without discussion when we have to.

- Day 5Up to the Goûter hut 3,835 m.
- Day 6Summit day: start 02:00, Mont Blanc, down to Nid d'Aigle.
- Day 7Spare day for weather, used more often than you'd think.
